Location: Falmouth, Maine

Scope of Work: Steve Ribble, ASLA was responsible for designing pedestrian and vehicular circulation elements and site landscaping, and representing the project to Town Officials throughout the permitting approval process of an existing Walmart store’s renovation into a Walmart Supercenter.

Working as a sub-consultant to the Sewall Company, Steve coordinated the site aspects of the project with allied disciplines to meet stringent Town design standards. Steve then represented the project through a series of Town design review meetings and again before several meetings with the Town Planning Board. Steve’s consensus based approach assured the concerns of both officials and residents who anticipated the project to have a negative impact on the immediate area.
